So it's open season as far as the Peace and Love campers on the left are concerned. Instapundit redacts a bit of this Huffington Post barrage. We on the other hand, prefer the effect of the full frontal. Here's a bit of that commentary on the wedding, via Salon, of which more anon. Warning: hate speech and crass vulgarity dead ahead:
This afternoon, the Huffington Post ran a blurb on this weekend's Colorado wedding of NBC correspondent Campbell Brown, 37, and Fox News analyst and GOP strategist Dan Senor, 34. Below are some of the comments posted by HuffPo readers in response to the two-paragraph item:Hey, ACLU, where's the lawsuit against Huffington Post for publishing hate speech?
randomizer37: "Oh my God, is he fucking ugly! Yet more proof that women are whores!"
Vaughn: "That guy looks like a fucking bug ... He has the job of a cockroach ... She probably fucked several TV execs to get where she is now."
bootedbydailykos: "Campbell Brown is From Conservative (mostly Republican) Richmond Virginia ... My husband who does video work knew her when she worked for a local station here in Richmond VA. She is a GOP whore. Which is why she married another partisan Hack / Whore for the GOP (Group of Parasites)."
SBJack: "At her age she has to take what she can get ... even if it is gay and younger than she is. Desperate Housewife, indeed."
Just as many folks don't believe me when I try to explain the "animal rights" and other leftie fanatics who'd like to kill off the human race, which they regard as a virus (except perhaps themselves), so, too, do many people refuse to believe the Wonk when he relates to them just how vile and infantile the left has become.
The above is just a sample of this kind of undeserved and unneeded vitriol. Elsewhere get some of the usual grab-bag of urban legend material, such as this marriage "proving" that the right has taken over all the MSM, which is the most laughable meme of this decade. If you're a glutton for punishment, like to read vile invective, or still don't believe me, you can find more samples here. (If you're still curious but squeamish, Instapundit's redacted samples are here.) Note: you may need to register for a daypass to visit the Salon site.)
No, this isn't a piece of the script for tonight's "South Park." It is instead just the latest sampling of the content-free zone that the left has become. Salon writer Rebecca Traister includes these commentaries as part of her "Broadsheet" column which is subtitled "Hateful Wedding Wishes from the Left." Her conclusion?
Let's hear it for those on the left who dismiss a man they don't like by calling him "gay," and who take a woman down a couple of notches by throwing around the word "whore" and labeling her ugly, old and desperate. No wonder they hate Senor's Republican ties so much; Republicans are mean and intolerant people.Uh, yeah. And a hat tip to the very lefty Salon for having the good sense and decency to run Traister's piece.
Just in case you were wondering about the intellectual depth of today's left, wonder no more. We'd call this sub-normal, tasteless, vulgar, and slanderous. The Brits would wrap it with a single word: common.

This all started when Bill Clinton described American voters to the Chinese Ambassador as "dumbf**kitarians" shortly after he was re-elected in 1996. His wife described him as a "sh*tforbrainsitarian" for saying that to the Chinese Ambassador. The Clintons have long been noted for their contributions to civil dialogue.

We knew Hillary was the one at fault for this decline in civilized behavior all along. Glad we don't have to deal with Commies anymore.
