Anti-Obamacare Protesters Hit the Streets

Where's the MSM? Hmmm?

Protesters against Obamacare, aka state control of our lives, are converging near the US Capitol as I type this. I have two online reviews to deliver, so alas I can't head on down there from my perch in beautiful downtown Reston, VA. But I did notice that some pix are being posted by Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit. Pix are being sent live by protesters who are already down there. Crowd estimate is 30,000, but this is informal. The photo I'm posting here, attributed to Alan Poston, makes it look like there's a huge crowd--an old Democrat-MSM trick. I have no clue as to how many will show up for this event. But I have rarely seen the nation--aka, flyover country--more pissed off about anything.

Your average Americans--i.e., Americans who don't live on either coast or in Chicago--are sick and tired of moneyed, Harvardized elites them us around and limiting our freedom in ways that they choose. If Obamacare (aka PelosiCare) doesn't pass, the protests will have done their job. If it does "pass"via an unconstitutional, scam non-vote, this crap will be in court for at least 5 years, sapping national unity and strength at a time we can least afford it.

All I can hope for at this point is that whatever happens today or tomorrow on the Hill will lead to an ultimate purge of Eurocrats, Socialists, and Communists from our government structures. If not, well, as e.e. cummings once wrote, "there's a hell of a good universe next door, let's go."
