HazZzMat Makes Contact

After laboring in relative obscurity for the last year or so, HazZzMat has been pleased to see a significant increase in hits over the last couple of weeks since we were referenced by Hugh Hewitt.

We, of course, have drawn the usual brickbats we're accustomed to getting from the currently gloating lefty blogosphere, one of whom leaked this illegally-obtained candid shot of a distraught, cross-dressing Wonker after last Tuesday's elections:

Now you know. Oh, well...

On the other hand, we appreciated a positive mention in the Townhall blog, citing the part we're attempting to play in exposing the largely hidden, ongoing effort of the left to destroy traditional American values in the Culture Wars, which are at least as important as our current military involvement in WW III. The Townhall commentary outlines in detail the numerous ways in which the hard left has subverted our educational and judicial systems as well as our culture. The link is highly recommended.

Inexplicably, we also continue to get links to a nearly year-ago post of ours where we kidded California's U.S. Representative Loretta Sanchez about her politically incorrect Christmas greetings. (Or were they Holiday Cards?) We tried to paste her card images in this post so you wouldn't have to open more windows. But Democrats hiding-out in the CIA's covert ops unit have rendered the pix invisible when copied, so you'll have to follow the links at our link. (However, these CIA spooks continue, no doubt, to channel classified material to the New York Times. Alberto Gonzales, where are you?)

BTW, these mildly risque cards don't seem to have put Sanchez', er, seat in any danger this year. Maybe we can get her to switch parties when we take the House back in 2008. Or else, since even Wal-Mart can learn from its mistakes, Republicans could learn to send out more appealing Holiday, er, Christmas Cards, to their alienated (and sometimes former) constituents. Hey, it's a start.
