We're on the road most of the day today, but there's plenty of good stuff up. One piece worth reading is Wretchard's riff on the New York Times vs. the Bush Administration on the topic of Weapons of Mass Destruction, whether created by Saddam or elsewhere. Well worth reading for students of the Big Lie and how it is packaged and fed to us daily by the hypocritical and hard left MSM. More on this from Hugh Hewitt.
Also interesting, from several sources, that the "independent" armed forces military papers, like the Army Times, are, in editorials, calling for Donald Rumsfeld's ouster. Isn't it interesting that these papers are now owned by the highly anti-war scum who run USA Today, Gannett? Isn't it interesting that the hard-left CNN trumpets this as a "major military publication" which it is not? (It is a private sector publication, not .gov, for you Washington wonks). CNN's clever verbiage muddies up this fact so that they have just enough deniability. ("Wonker purposely misinterpreted our fake-but-accurate statement.)
The insidiousness of the left continues, one institution at a time. Read everything carefully. You are far more likely to hit a landmine or an IED in the New York Times than you are in Baghdad, because they are more carefully hidden.
