Fox: Student "Editor Keeps His !@#$! Job"

This from Fox News online:

DENVER — The student editor of the Colorado State University newspaper was admonished Thursday for the paper's use of an obscenity in an editorial about President Bush but David McSwane will be allowed to keep his job.

The decision came after a closed door meeting by the board which oversees student media at the school.

Wow. Another closed door hearing in academia. I wonder if they discussed double secret probation. They probably laughed and snorted about how "right on" McSwine's "editorial" really was. (Did we just make a typo there?)

This was obviously a pretty brave decision by the "board" as:
Since the editorial ran, 18 advertisers either called to pull their advertising or threatened to end their advertising in the newspaper, which could result in some $50,000 in potential lost revenue. Officials have said that staff would have to take an across-the-board 10 percent pay cut to make up for the losses.
The moral of the story is: Sure we can do without massive amounts of advertising revenue, just as long as we lose the advertising of people who support Chimpy BushMacHitler.

We have a modest proposal to make to any student at Colorado State who has the guts: Why don't you write and publish a "F*** Hillary Clinton" editorial? Just as an experiment.

Anybody want to bet on how that "secret hearing" will turn out? Or whether the student editor even gets to remain at Colorado State. Any takers on this? Hello? Anyone out there?
