Our Own Turkey-crats: A Followup Post

Both Luther and Wonker have weighed in on the lunacy of the Congressional Democrats' resolution dumping on condemning the Ottoman Empire's sacking of the Armenians. The timing was clearly meant to screw up the efforts of President Bush and General Petraeus to gradually draw to a conclusion our current efforts in Iraq. But since the 'Rats wouldn't get credit for it, no one else should either. So, hey, let's "support our troops" and raise that American body count again (indirectly, no fingerprints) by crimping military supplies flowing in from Turkey. That way, we can make Bush and Petraeus look bad, all the better for us to win in '08.

After all, it's Bush's War.
